. Once upon a time there were young people on these sites - young people, now people of all ages use it. Not only is it used to communicate with one another, it is also used to establish a particular ideology or doctrine. If it had been limited to the purpose for which it was started, it would not have caused any problems, but unfortunately, addiction to the true social networking site is slowly becoming a big problem for the whole world. Psychologists have started researching it and now it is fairly certain that the success of these sites depends on how efficiently they can addict users. The mother of the whole process is how often and how often one can be dragged to these sites and do something with them. The more times that one uses this site, the more successful the site will be and of course the more. Will make money. So if someone is not very careful then there is a very big risk that he will become completely addicted to these sites. মনুষ সামাজিক প্রাণী এবং মানুষের নিজেদের ভেতর সবসময়েই একধরনের সামাজিক যােগাযোেগ ছিল- কিন্তু সামাজিক নেটওয়ার্কের কথা না বুঝিয়ে ইন্টারনেট - নির্ভর সম্পূর্ণ ভিন্ন এক ধরনের নেটওয়ার্কের কথা বােঝানাে য । ফেসবুক , টুইটার , ইনস্টগ্রাম , গুগলপ্লাস- এ ধরনের অনেক সামাজিক যােগাযােগ সাইট রয়েছে যেগুলােতে মানুষ নিজেদের পরিচিতদের সাথে যােগাযােগ রাখতে পারে । এক সময় এই সাইটগুলাে ছিল কম বয়সী তরুণ - তরুণীদের জনে , এখন সব বয়সী মানুষই সেটি ব্যবহার করে । শুধু যে একে অন্যের সাথে যােগাযােগের জন্যে এটি ব্যবহার করে তা নয় , একটা বিশেষ আদর্শ বা মতবাদকে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করার জন্যেও এটি ব্যবহার করা হয় । যে উদ্দেশ্যে এটি শুরু হয়েছিল যদি এটি সেই উদ্দেশ্যের মাঝে সীমাবন্ধ থাকত তাহলে এটি কোনাে সমস্যার জন্য দিত না , কিন্তু দুর্ভাগ্যজনক হলেও সত্যি সামাজিক যােগাযােগ সাইটে আসক্তি ধীরে ধীরে সারা পৃথিবীর জন্যই একটা বড় সমস্যা হয়ে পাড়িয়ে যেতে শুরু করছে । মনােবিজ্ঞানীরা এটা নিয়ে গবেষণা শুরু করেছেন এবং এখন এটি মােটামুটিভাবে নিশ্চিত বলা যায় এই সাইটগুলাের সাফল্য নির্ভর করে , সেগুলাে কত দক্ষতার সাথে ব্যবহারকারীদের আসক্ত করতে পারে । পুরাে কর্মপদ্ধতির মাকেই যে বিষয়টি রয়েছে সেটি হচ্ছে কত বেশিবার এবং কত বেশি সময় একজনকে এই সাইটগুলােতে টেনে আনা যায় এবং তাদেরকে দিয়ে কোনাে একটা কিছু করানাে যায় । যে যত বেশিবার এই সাইট ব্যবহার করবে সেই সাইটটি তত বেশি সফল হিসেবে বিবেচিত হবে এবং অবশ্যই সেটি তত বেশি । টাকা উপার্জন করবে । কাজেই কেউ যদি অত্যন্ত সতর্ক না থাকে তাহলে তার এই সাইটগুলােতে পুরােপুরি আসক্ত হয়ে যাবার খুব বড় একটা আশঙ্কা রয়েছে । মনােবিজ্ঞানীরা এই সাইটগুলাে বিশ্লেষণ করে আরাে একটি কৌতূহলােশীপক বিষয় আবিষ্কার করেছেন । সব মানুষের ভেতরেই নিজেকে প্রকাশ করার একটা ব্যাপার রয়েছে কিংবা নিজেকে নিয়ে মুগ্ধ থাকার এক ধরনের দৃশ্য আকাক্ষা থাকে , সেটাকে মনােবিজ্ঞানের ভাষায় Narcissism বলে- সামাজিক যােগাযােগের সাইটগুলােতে মানুষের এই সুপ্ত বাসনাকে জাগ্রত করে দেয় । সবার ভেতরই তখন নিজেকে জনপ্রিয় করে তােলার এক ধরনের প্রতিযােগিতা শুরু হয় । জেনে হােক না জেনে হােক ব্যবহারকারীরা নিজের সম্পর্কে অত্যন্ত তুচ্ছ খুঁটিনাটি তথ্য সবার সামনে উপস্থাপন করতে থাকে , কেউ সেটি দেখলে সে খুশি হয় , কেউ পছন্দ করলে আরাে বেশি খুশি হয় । পুরাে প্রক্রিয়াটি অনেকটা মাদকের মতাে কাজ করে এবং একজন ব্যবহারকারী ঘণ্টার পর ঘন্টা এই যােগাযােগের মাধ্যমে তাদের সময় অপচয় করতে থাকে । সামাজিক যােগাযােগের এই আকাশচুম্বী জনপ্রিয়তার এ পৃথিবীতে অনেক সময়ের অপচয় হচ্ছে ।
