We will discuss this work in the next class. In addition to operating system software, we need different types of software to use ICT devices. In these softwares the user has to install the device based on the purpose of use. Before installing the software in any corner, it is necessary to keep in mind the following:> Whether the software to be installed supports the hardware of your device; > read me The file should read whether there is some urgent work; > Whether all other work is off during the installation (if not, it is often a hassle to install new software); > Whether antivirus software is off; And whether the operating system has the permission of the administrator (this is allowed for almost all devices except the special corner device. We will learn more about this in the next class). The process of installing software other than operating system software depends a lot on the operating system. However, the process is much the same. If you want to install software in any corner, first you need a soft or digital copy of the software. This soft copy can be obtained from CD, DVD, pen drive or internet. In most cases a program called Auto run is attached to the software. Inserting a CD, DVD, or pen drive into your computer will trigger the Auto run program and ask permission to setup the software. Once you have given permission, follow the next steps and the software will be installed on your device. The installed program can be started only after restarting the device. Here are the steps to install a software: First you need to double click on the software setup file. For example, Figure 1 below is a setup file. Double clicking on it will start the installation.
