পরিবারের সবাই বাড়ির বাইরে বেড়াতে গেলে সাধারণত আমরা বাড়ির দরজায় তালা লাগিয়ে যাই ।

কেন ? বাড়ির নিরাপত্তা নিশ্চিত রার জন্য , তাই না । এখন একটু চিন্তা কর , তালা জিনিসটা আসলে কী ?
যে কেউ যেকোনাে চাবি দিয়ে তােমার বাড়ির তালাটি খুলতে পারে না ।
কারণ পৃথিবীর প্রত্যেকটি তালার জন্য ভিন্ন ভিন্ন চাবি রয়েছে ।
এক তালার চাবি দিয়ে অন্য একটি তালা খােলা যায় না । এভাবে আমরা তালা দিয়ে আমাদের বাড়িসহ অন্যান্য জিনিসের নিরাপত্তা নিশ্চিত করি । এখন অবশ্য নম্বর দেওয়া এক ধরনের তালা দেখা যায় , যেখানে নম্বর মিলিয়ে তালাটি খুলতে হয় ।
এক্ষেত্রে নম্বরটি চাবির কাজ করে । কিন্তু ডিজিটাল প্রযুক্তির এ যুগে আরো অনেক কিছুর নিরাপত্তা নিয়ে
আমাদের চিন্তা করতে হয় । তােমরা নিশ্চয়ই বুঝে ফেলেছ কিসের কথা বলছি ।ঠিক ধরেছ ,
আমরা আমাদের তথ্য ও উপাত্তের নিরাপত্তা কথা বলছি ।
আইসিটির এ যুগে আমাদের গুরুত্বপূর্ণ । তথ্য , উপাত্ত ও সফটওয়্যার নিরাপত্তায় এক ধরনের তালা দিতে হয় ।
এ তালার নাম পাসওয়ার্ড ।
তােমরা অনেকে নিশ্চয়ই ইতােমধ্যে পাসওয়ার্ড তৈরি ও ব্যবহার করে ফেলেছ ।
তথ্য ও যােগাযােগ প্রযুক্তির ব্যবহার এখন সবখানে ।আমাদের দেশও এর ব্যতিক্রম নয় ।
এর প্রসার যত বাড়ছে নিরাপত্তার প্রশ্নটি তত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ হয়ে উঠছে ।
আমাদের ব্যক্তিগত সকল তথ্য যেমন ব্যাংক একাউন্ট , আয়করের হিসাব , চাকরির বিভিন্ন তথ্য ইত্যাদি
ছাড়াও নানা তথ্য - উপাত্ত এখন ডিজিটাল ব্যবস্থার আওতায় আসছে ।
এছাড়াও আমাদের আইসিটি যন্ত্রপাতি যেমন কম্পিউটার , ল্যাপটপ ,
ট্যাবলেট কিংবা মােবাইল ফোনগুলাে সফটওয়্যার দ্বারা পরিচালিত হয় ।
আমরা যখন ইন্টারনেট ব্যবহার করি তখন পৃথিবীর যেকোনাে প্রান্তের
কম্পিউটার বা আইসিটি যন্ত্রের সাথে যােগযােগ করতে পারি ।
তেমনি অন্য যে কেউ আমাদের যন্ত্রের সাথে যােগাযােগ করতে পারে ।
তথ্য আদান - প্রদান করতে পারে ।
এর মাধ্যমে আমাদের ব্যক্তিগত গােপনীয় তথ্যও অন্যের কাছে চলে যেতে পারে কিংবা
কেউ আমাদের যন্ত্রের সফটওয়্যারের ক্ষতি করতে পারে ।
এ অবস্থা থেকে রক্ষা পেতে আমাদের নিরাপত্তা প্রয়ােজন ।
এসব তথ্য ও আমাদের যন্ত্রের সফটওয়্যারসমূহ রক্ষা করতে পাসওয়ার্ডের কোনাে বিকল্প নেই ।
পাসওয়ার্ড দেওয়া থাকলে যে কেউ ইচ্ছা করলেই আমাদের তথ্য নিতে পারবে না বা ক্ষতি করতে পারবে না ।
তবে এখানে একটি কথা অবশ্যই জেনে রাখতে হবে যদি কেউ বুদ্ধি খাটিয়ে আমরা
যে পাসওয়ার্ড দিয়েছিলাম তা ধরে ফেলতে পারে তাহলে সে আমাদের সকল তথ্য নিয়ে নিতে পারবে ।
তথ্য নষ্ট করতে চাইলে নষ্ট করতে পারবে ।
অনেকটা ডুপ্লিকেট চাবি বানিয়ে তালা খুলে ফেলার মতাে ।
তাই পাসওয়ার্ড তৈরি করতে আমাদের অনেক দক্ষ হতে হবে । অন্য কেউ ধারণা করতে পারে এমন সহজ
পাসওয়ার্ড যেমন তৈরি করা যাবে না আবার নিজেই ভলে যেতে পারি এমন পাসওয়ার্ড তৈরি করা যাবে না ।
বেশিরভাগ মানুষ 123456 বা 654321 বা abcdef এ ধরনের পাসওয়ার্ড তৈরি করে ।
ফলে পাসওয়ার্ড জেনে যাওয়া বা ধরে ফেলা সহজ হয় । যদিও অনেক ব্যবহারকারী অনন্য বা unique
পাসওয়ার্ড তৈরি করাকে ঝামেলার কাজ মনে করে ।
তথ্য - উপাত্তের দিকটি বিবেচনায় নিলে unique বা মৌলিক পাসওয়ার্ড তৈরি করাঅত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ।
সাভার , কম্পিউটার বা যেকোনাে আইসিটি যন্ত্রে রক্ষিত তথ্য ও উপাত্তের নিরাপত্তা বিধানের সাথে সাথে
গােপনীয়তা বজায় রাখার কাজটিও পাসওয়ার্ড করে থাকে । তােমার পাসওয়ার্ড যদি unique না হয় তবে :
দুর্বল পাসওয়ার্ডের কারণে ভাইরাস সহজেই আক্রমণ করতে পারে ।2.হ্যাকারদের সহজেই হ্যাক করার সুযােগ করে দিতে পারে । এতে তােমার ব্যাংকে রাখা টাকা ছাড়াও
গুরুত্বপূর্ণ তথ্য অন্যের হাতে চলে যেতে পারে ।
3.তােমার সহজ পাসওয়ার্ডের কারণে আইসিটি যন্ত্রে রক্ষিত তথ্য নষ্ট করার সুযােগ তৈরি হতে পারে।
কীভাবে মৌলিক পাসওয়ার্ড তৈরি করা যায় ? এটি একটি সৃজনশীল কাজ । তােমার সৃজনশীলতাই তােমার তথ্য বা সফটওয়্যারের নিরাপত্তা ও গােপনীয়তা রক্ষা করতে পারে ।
তবে এক্ষেত্রে কিছু নিয়ম মেনে চললে কাজটি করতে আমাদের অনেক সুবিধা হবে ।
Unique পাসওয়ার্ড তৈরির সময় আমাদের লক্ষ্য রাখতে হবে :
1.নিজের বা পরিবারের কারাে নাম বা ব্যক্তিগত কোনাে তথ্য সরাসরি ব্যবহার না করা । যদিও পাসওয়ার্ডটি
মনে রাখার ক্ষেত্রে এটি আমাদের সাহায্য করে থাকে ;
2.সংখ্যা , চিহ্ন ও শব্দ ব্যবহারের ক্ষেত্রে ছােট হাতের
অক্ষর ও বড় হাতের অক্ষর মিশিয়ে দিলে ভালাে হয় । এতে পাসওয়ার্ডটি সম্পর্কে অন্যের ধারণা করা
অনেক কঠিন হয়ে যাবে ;3.পাসওয়ার্ডটি যেন অবশ্যই একটু বড় আকারের হয় ;
4.পাসওয়ার্ড মনে রাখার জন্য আইসিটি যন্ত্র বা ডায়রি বা অন্য কোথাও পাসওয়ার্ড বা এর অংশবিশেষ লিখে না
রাখা
4.পাসওয়ার্ড মনে রাখার জন্য নিজের পছন্দের একটি সংকেত ব্যবহার করা । এটি হতে পারে প্রিয়


কবিতা , রাখা ; গল্প , লেখক , বৈজ্ঞানিক আবিষ্কার বা কোনাে ঐতিহাসিক ঘটনা ।

এ কাজগুলাের সাথে যদি সৃজনশীলতা যােগ হয় তবে পাসওয়ার্ডটি হয়ে উঠতে পারে unique পাসওয়ার্ড ।
