 Computer viruses and antivirus

We already know a lot about computer viruses. However, keeping in mind the safety of our ICT devices, we need to know more about this. These viruses damage our ICT devices due to the attack of the virus in the animal body. The word VIRUS stands for Vital Information Resources Under Siege which means to capture or damage important information. It was named in 1960 by Fred Cohen, a renowned researcher and professor at the University of New Haven. A virus is a type of software that attacks information and data and has the ability to increase its own number. When a virus enters a computer, the number usually increases and attacks various data and at one stage infects the computer or ICT device and paralyzes it. For example, a boot virus attacks the boot sector of a disk. Some of the best known viruses are Stone, Vienna, CIH, Folder, Trojan Horse, etc.

When a computer or ICT device is infected with a virus, it gradually spreads. When a file with a CD pen drive or any other virus is played on a virus-free computer or an ICT device in the corner, the infected virus of the file takes up position in the memory of the computer or device. Even after closing the file after the work is done, the infected virus remains in the memory. As a result, the virus-free computer or ICT device becomes infected with the virus. The same thing happens when you run a virus-infected program or software In this way, the virus that takes up space in the memory later attacks other programs and files as well. In some places, viruses instantly devour all programs and files, while in others, viruses only infect new programs and files. While consuming files and programs, the virus starts to cause total damage inside the computer at will. Thus a virus-free computer gradually becomes infected with the virus and the virus spreads to other computers through the CDs, hard disks, internet, etc. used in that infected computer. Symptoms of a computer or ICT device virus infection:
It takes longer than usual to open programs and files. Memory is low and speed is low. Displays some unexpected messages that are not related to the work being done while the computer is running. Installing new programs takes longer. Ongoing work is taking up more space in the files. The device shuts down or shuts down when it is turned on, or suddenly shuts down or restarts while working. The names of the files in the folder have been changed, etc. Viruses can usually cause damage: Delete files stored in the corner of the computer, can distort or corrupt data, may display unwanted messages while working on the computer. The computer can distort or corrupt the monitor's display
Can slow down the work of the system. What can we do to get rid of this condition? This is where antivirus comes in. In most cases antivirus can save us from this condition. Antivirus is an antidote to computer or ICT device viruses. If the system is infected with a virus, it has to be eradicated. Antivirus utilities are used to protect against virus infections. These utilities first match the known virus signs to the infected computer. Then
Antivirus software uses its foreknowledge to fix the original program from the infected location. A good antivirus can eliminate almost all types of viruses in general. As soon as a new virus is discovered, updating the antivirus improves its strength and efficiency. As a result, new viruses can be destroyed. There are currently many antiviruses that detect, eliminate, and prevent viruses. Nowadays, almost every operating system is equipped with antivirus software. Also current antiviruses destroy or warn the user before the virus attacks. As a result, they are much more effective than previous antiviruses. One thing we must keep in mind here is that antivirus software must always be (updated).
The security of ICT devices can be largely ensured by downloading and installing free antivirus software from the Internet to protect against viruses. Some of the notable antivirus programs are AVG Antivirus Software (Downloaded Website www.avg.com) AV Antivirus Software (Downloaded Website www.avira.com) Avast Antivirus Software (Downloaded Website www.com) To do this we can use the following methods. 1. CDs, pen drives, memory cards, etc. used on other devices should be virus free before being used on your own device. (Canned by anti-virus) Software copied from another computer before using the software on your own computer 3, the file in the corner of another device before using the device on your own device to de-virus; 4. Be careful when downloading and installing software from the Internet to your computer. Because, if there is a virus in the downloaded software, then your computer is also a virus. Do not copy and use software used on other computers or devices
5. Do not copy and use software used on other computers or devices. . It is necessary to update the antivirus software to display a warning message when a virus enters the computer; . Back up daily used data or files to a separate corner disk or pen drive, but in this case the disk or pen drive must be virus free; . Be careful with e-mail exchanges. For example: not opening e-mails from suspicious sources. Even if it is done, it should be eaten free from virus. 9, you must check the virus before using the game file.
